“Build confidence for real connection”

कथा — the story

The Story · कथा

An AI-powered confidence coach that helps you practice conversations and connect for real.

Confidia is a personal confidence coach in your pocket. An AI message assistant helps you find the right words, daily challenges build social courage step by step, and a confidence score tracks your progress over time — so real conversations stop feeling scary.

How this one was climbed

The problem समस्या

Most apps built on language models are a chat window with a new colour scheme. The model does the work, the product does very little, and there is no reason to open it twice. We wanted to find out what an AI product looks like when the model is a component rather than the whole idea.

Social confidence turned out to be a good problem for it. The difficulty is not information, everybody already knows they should start conversations, it is the gap between knowing and doing. That gap needs structure, progression, and something that notices whether you actually did the thing, none of which a chat interface provides.

The route we took बाटो

We built the product around three parts that reinforce each other. A message assistant helps you find words for a specific conversation you are actually about to have, which is the model doing what it is genuinely good at. Daily challenges provide graduated, concrete actions, which is the part that closes the knowing-doing gap. And a confidence score tracks progress over time, which is what makes returning tomorrow feel like continuing rather than starting again.

The design work was mostly restraint. An app for people who feel anxious in social situations cannot itself feel like pressure, so the tone is quiet, the challenges are small, and nothing scolds you for a missed day. Streak mechanics that punish a lapse would actively work against the product’s purpose.

On the engineering side, the interesting problems in an AI product are the ones around the model rather than in it: keeping responses fast enough to feel conversational, handling the request that fails or returns nothing useful, and being deliberate about what leaves the device. We treated all three as product requirements rather than infrastructure details.

What shipped नतिजा

Confidia runs as a mobile app with the message assistant, daily challenges, and confidence tracking all shipped, and there is a web presence for it at confidia.pixeryhub.com.

It is the build we point to when a client asks what we mean by using AI thoughtfully: the model is load-bearing but it is not the product, and the structure around it is where the value is.

Worth naming

AI message assistant

Help finding words for a conversation you are actually about to have, which is the narrow thing language models do genuinely well.

Graduated daily challenges

Small, concrete actions that build on each other, because the problem was never a shortage of information.

Progress without punishment

A confidence score that shows movement over time, and deliberately no streak mechanic to punish the day you did not manage it.

Designed for failure states

Slow responses, empty responses, and no connection all handled as product cases rather than as errors.

Built with

  • Cross-platform mobile
  • Large language model API
